Haryana MBBS NRI Quota Admission 2026: Priority-Wise Eligibility, Fees & Colleges

Priority Categories for Allotment

Seats are allotted based on NEET 2026 merit, but preference is strictly given in the following cascading order during Haryana State Counselling:

1. Priority I: Actual NRIs / OCIs who originally belong to the State of Haryana.
2. Priority II: Children of NRIs / OCIs who originally belong to the State of Haryana.
3. Priority III: Actual NRIs / OCIs who originally belong to an Indian State other than Haryana.
4. Priority IV: Children of NRIs / OCIs who originally belong to an Indian State other than Haryana.
5. Priority V (Sponsored Wards): Wards or nearest relations of an NRI. The sponsor must be a strictly defined blood relative (First-Degree: Brother/Sister, or Second-Degree: Grandparents, First Uncle/Aunt).

Mandatory Guidelines & Documentation

If you are applying under the NRI quota, your application will only be verified if the following documents are uploaded online to the DMER portal and physically presented during document verification:

• Proof of NRI Status: A valid Embassy Certificate or Consular letter proving the NRI/OCI/PIO status of the sponsor, issued within the last six months from their country of residence.
• Sponsor's Identification: Notarized copies of the sponsor’s valid Passport, Visa, and resident card/work permit.
• Proof of Relationship: A legally binding Family Tree Certificate (issued by a Tehsildar/Revenue Officer) or a sworn affidavit clearly establishing the exact biological relationship between the applicant and the NRI sponsor.
• Financial Undertaking: An affidavit from the sponsor formally undertaking the financial responsibility for the student's entire MBBS course fee.
• Bank Account Details: Proof of the sponsor's NRE/NRO or foreign bank account. All fee payments must be remitted from this authorized account or via direct foreign wire transfer.
• NEET UG 2026 Scorecard: Proof of qualifying the centralized entrance exam.
